StressAwayy (“we,” “us”) operates stressawayy.com and assess.stressawayy.com (the Stress Fingerprint™ assessment). This policy describes what data we actually collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Assessment answers. Your responses to the Stress Fingerprint™ questions, and the resulting pattern, severity, and system scores.
- Your first name (optional). If you choose to enter it, it is used only to personalize the results shown to you in that session. It is not attached to your stored assessment record.
- Demographics (optional). If you tick the box to contribute to the India Stress Index™, we also store a broad age group, gender, state, and occupation category alongside your anonymized result.
- Email address (only if you provide one). If you submit your email to receive your results or subscribe to the newsletter, we store that email address separately from your assessment answers.
We do not require an account, a password, or any payment information to use the assessment. We do not currently process payments on this site.
How your assessment data is stored
Your assessment result is stored with a random identifier, not your name, in a Supabase database. If you provided demographics and opted in, those are stored alongside the anonymized result to help build the India Stress Index™ — an aggregate picture of how stress patterns show up across India. We do not store your name together with your assessment answers.
If you submit an email address, it is stored separately by our website (WordPress, hosted on Hostinger) so we can send you your results or newsletter issues. Your email is not merged with your anonymized assessment record.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. While you’re taking the assessment, your in-progress answers are temporarily stored in your browser (via localStorage) so you don’t lose your place if you navigate back — this data stays on your device and is not sent anywhere until you complete the assessment.
Who else sees this data
We use two infrastructure providers to run this service: Supabase (database storage) and Vercel (application hosting). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising services on the assessment app.
How long we keep data
Anonymized assessment data is kept indefinitely to build the India Stress Index™, since it cannot be tied back to you. Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to tell you what data we hold that’s linked to your email address, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@stressawayy.com and we will act on your request. Because assessment results aren’t stored with identifying information, we generally cannot look up or delete an individual anonymized result after the fact — if this matters to you, don’t opt in to the India Stress Index™ contribution, or don’t provide your email.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
